I downloaded a mod for HL2 called "Insurgency", it seems to be based in iraq or similar location with US Forces vs Insurgents.

I guess you could say its like CS:Source, but with different weapons, skins and locations.

I had a dabble earlier and it wasnt too bad, thought I'd mention it.

ok i just played this for about half an hour. It kind of reminds me of css, but slightly different. Its good fun though kind of hard in the beginning, its gonna take some getting used to b4 being able to teabag them :D, and to figure out if the bagged one is a teammate or not  :salute:

I spent half an hour on it last night getting my arse kicked :) ...killed before I could even see where they where lol, but I think its one of those games that you have to know the maps on to survive for any decent amount of time.

I was playing with clan players though, so presumably they are from a CS:S background and therefore familiar with it.

It is run on the CSS engine, you will find out in time that when you spawn you will die its the biggest flaw in the game everyone spawn camps
