Portal 2?

I just read something that this game features cross platform multiplayer? Does this mean that pc gamers can play vs xbox, ps3, os is it just ps3 and xbox which play vs each other? Does this mean that our future games could pit us against console noobs?

thanks to PS3 version of steam it allows co-op between PC and PS3 users. (xbox excluded)

I don't see competitive games like cod going crossplatform.

But back to the matter at hand plowy, whats it like? You came across the cross console stuff yet?

Seeing that PSN has been down from before easter I haven't tried the cross platform play yet. I actually bought for the PS3 'cause I wanted to play co-op with my step son. It's actually a pretty sweet deal: if you buy a copy and register your steam account on the PS3 you get a free PC/Mac version.

Cross platform has been done before with 'Shadowrun' wich was a limited succes. This was xbox / Windows.

BTW - Portal 2 mod tool are out in a beta version... same tool the devs used to build the game. So the title just got some really long legs. Aaaand the announced free DLC a couple off days ago... now thats love.
