Been playing MoH MP since saturday and I'm loving it :) less ranks & perks to worry about, pretty good HD, you actually start with bullets that can kill people ;D I can even snipe!! good mix of game types, only 1 vehicle :) a small scout tank that even snipers can take out with C4, the no sway bug from the beta is fixed and of course it has "combat mission", a linear, objective based game type  faster paced than BC2 and you don't have to run so far before you die :p scenery is afganistan so it ain't that pretty but it looks better than iraq and level of destructability is reasonable, not gimicky. For those who are going to try it add W4sted & Lumberj4ck to your friends list (I'm retiring Sky, I fancy being permanantly W4sted)

Some people are like Slinkies. They’re not really good for anything; but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs!

New MoH patch is great, improved weapon balance, suddenly a lot less snipers about and no issues joining servers :p

toobs are about as accurate as BF:BC2 but they have just improved the range a bit and you can use them to blow the tracks off the tanks. Haven't seen any moaning about toobs or rockets only about the teams being 90% snipers but that's rapidly subsided now with the new patch. New "free" gametype is "cleansweep" which is like S&D without the hassle of planting the bomb  DLC is £6.99 and includes 2 maps and another new gametype "King of the Hill"
MoH+DLC = cheaper than CoD:BO

So now the patch is out, is this game worth buying?

In the shops its £35 which I refuse to pay, I've seen it online for £26....but dont want to waste £26 if the patch hasnt really improved it.

Also, whats the SP like?.....good plot or an after-thought?
The best defence against software piracy is producing a game worth buying.

What's SP? Only played MP :) Post Patch snipers have to get HS or waste 2 bullets, suddenly a lot less snipers about :)
Not really enough maps per gametype but a month down the road they're not yet boring. Less weapons and level ups than CoD and smaller maps/faster gameplay than BC2, the laggy hitbox still manifests itself but works both ways, player ping isn't visible but it seems ping related so it's no worse than FC was and atleast you know where the snipers are, unlike BC2. there's the odd dubious "highly skilled" player but they're easy to spot when you check their stats. The DLC seems a flop though, too little too soon.
