http://www.hardocp.com/article/2010/07/ ... 0_review/1

dont even look @ the ati 5830 its pants for its price tag :D

as for gtx price wise id stick to the 1 gb it has a proper 256bit interface :) note i only say this in regard to you asking about said cards. shop around
but i have seen the 769mb /192bit interface ones @ £116.95 this of course is your call and how much your willing to part with .extra ram isnt anything more than a gimmick as shown in results

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/227182
http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.a ... x460sf1102
link above has the card exactly same price as on cclonline does with free P@p aswell just thought id put both up if you wanted to see what else they have

remember read reviews .but take oc deranged twats with a pinch of salt

Tyvm Umbongo.

The reviews for the 460 have been great all 5 stars etc. Some1 even says they can play bfbc2 on full maxed settings and get good fps, obv other things come into account but this has made me want to buy it even more.

The only worry i have is if i spend £160+ am i buyin an out-dated card as the 480 are been released?

'Compared to the GTX 480’s 480 CUDA cores and 15 polymorph (tessellation) engines, the GTX 460 packs 336 cores and 7 tessellators. The GTX 480 features 60 texture mapping units to the GTX 460s 56, while the GTX 460 is 2.25" shorter, uses 90W less power at full load, and costs less than half as much.'

but then is what im thinking really true?

anyways thanks for the info bud ill most probs buy this card, based on reviews and how quiet it is.

My brother in law bought 2 x HD5770s in crossfire for his PC, and he is running everything on high now on 3 monitors ( he likes playing F1 too lol )
He picked em up from ebay for 80 squid each, wich is a steal if you ask me. I will wait for christmas and get the same, they really are fantastic cards, and the eye-finity is a real nice perk on em.
