Now, my computer basically runs bc2 in high settings with no problems, 4 gb ram.

I don't need a soundcard, as i have the G35 headset....

Now, i can't decide whether it's worth upgrading anything inside (motherboard-for 2 graphics cards?) Is it possible to run 2 Gtx 260's in the same machine? (im a nub with these things xD)

Or should i just stick to getting a new shiny monitorr? :( Also, how much better is the i7 to a Phenom quadcore? Cos i now want one of them :(

Is there anything i should look at upgrading? :( Or just leave it and get a shiny monitor? :D

To change from phenom to i7 would mean new MB, CPU and RAM and the GTX260 would still be holding it back as it's a mid range card.
A 24" 2ms monitor would do you more good and maybe upgrading the GFX card & RAM aswell.

BTW Rekhyt sounds such a emo name, you finally coming out?

My next GPU will be an ATI 5850 mate, depends what your budget is.

both cpu's have their strengths & weaknesses, Intels strength is their stranglehold on the oem market and enormous marketing budget, while AMD's is having their own CPU, chipset & GPU combination.
If you have an AMD cpu & an AMD chipset MB then seriously consider combining an ATI gfx card with it.
If you have 64bit Windows7 or Vista then adding another 4GB of RAM would be useful aswell.

depending on your phenom qaud the 955 and 965 are on par with the entry i7

also id wait as 6 core computing is on the way.but this has been a quiet front .and hopfully for us amd no mobo upgrade will be involved (fingers crossed)

be carefull rikydick as the only way youll see a vast improvment on what you have is a cpu that hasnt been released yet

as always its the software that make you beleive its running like split [sh*t] ...............64bit lies anyone,,hyperthreading loool

dx10 erm srry thats broke how about dx10.1 he he

i dont understand what bong said...im running 64 bit Windows 7 so RAM might be a good thing?
scarybaby

i will sum up everything from both bongo and sky for you

Unless you are looking to buy a brand new pc you cant really do much worthwhile upgrading with what you have(ie not a significant improvement to justify it).If you have lots of monies to buy a new pc then go ahead but im pretty sure u dont.

You could run 2 gpus but the added benefit isnt worth it

if u run bc2 on high settings why do you need a better pc.

have u overclocked?
