Basicallly, we got a 10MB virgin media package....i have my G+USB adapter, which worked fine in house (no0 lag spikes, it was all computer!)

In my house now,m I'm actually closer to the router, its directly underneath me....but we have a shitty G router (from netgear!) Noww, i have my G+Mimo here with me, but basically, when i updated the firmware, it updated, then logged me out of the settings. Now, i cant get in as it says 'login error' when i type what i know the password was. And i try leaving it as the default blank, but still no joy :(

Can anyone help? Lag spikes are killing me, lol! Otherwisee i might ask parents to pay 25quid and get me a N router from Virgin media :) Lol!

make? model?
on the back there should be a little hole marked reset, with the power on push something into the hole (paperclips are good) and hold for 10 secs, this will reset to factory settings and the thing should reboot.
You definately need MIMO (multi in multi out) if anyone else is using wireless aswell.

Bruuuv, i have the same router! lol wat grumps said 'Press the Reset button!' i had the same problem kinda but mine was cos i forgot the pass i used to make it secure.

Y where on the subject with these lag spikes, i only get them 3 - 5 mins at a time and it like sets my character back a few paces in mmo's. When i uased to be linked with the E cable i didnt have any prblems with lag, any1 got any idea on how to improve/fix this lag situation!? (if not the big drill coming out and ima make lots of holes in the floors and walls!)

Get the big drill out, you can't beat ethernet (unless you can afford 10Gbps fibreoptic)
MIMO is better than normal g/g+ but you've got to have it at both ends. PCI wireless is better than USB.
i.e wlan>pci is better than wlan>usb>pci
