Me and plow tried this last night. The graphics, scenery and audio are great, the gameplay though ...hmmm.

There are 2 types of mp available in the beta, one is like COD but bearable, the other is a confusing mess of mayhem where you spend more than 50% of your time spawning in a bad spot only to be shot in the back of the head because you spawned in front of an AT-AT or fixed gun emplacement.

Not a preorder game for me.

Until you said AT-AT I thought you were talking about the other game mode!
Little to arcadish for me, more so than COD TBH, but it might grown on me, especially with other game modes available...
I will give it a few more goes.

I played a little more yesterday and as a soldier of the empire its ok but as a rebel less so.

So im possibly going to get this for the SP alone. The MP needs more balancing for me, especially scoping weapons - theres little advantage to it, scoping slows you down and the difference in laser spread between scoping and hip shooting is shooting is minimal at best.

Its does look the dogs though, hopefully the SP content is equally as impressive.

Its definitely one of the best beta's I have played in terms of polished game and lack of bugs, like you I am still not sure on the game modes, but its a definite buy for me...although the Mrs is gegging in on the act and wanting to buy me a game for Xmas... Don't want to wait till then!!!

Atkeast they've admitted it. I still prefer Rainbow Six Sieges MP to this, but as a star wars fan Dice have done a great job aesthetically
