The mw2 engine was good, it's just IW [f*cked] up the MP. But IW are gone so who's the dev team on MW3? Even with a better engine Treyarch could still [f*ck] it up

Sledgehammer Games are the studio that is working on MW3 and they are put together with that specific task in mind. The game is set to release within this year so it's gonna be a spin-off game (on the same engine as MW2 and BO) I see a great fock-up on the rise ... But with a franchise that reaches far beyond the hardcore gamer they are probably gonna sell more than bottled water though I wouldn't put it past Activision to run the IP into the ground.

Sledgehammer – a studio recruited by Activision to work on a Call of Duty spin-off game – are now helping Infinity Ward out on the single-player component of their current title, which is tipped to be Modern Warfare 3 (no surprises there).

Wisconsin-based Raven Software have also been brought in to work on the multi-player element, according to the article.

Im pretty sure Treyarch's BO uses their own engine (a modified WAW engine) and not the same engine as InfinityWards COD4/MW2 engine.

BlOps uses Treyarchs own engine, same one they used on WaW, which is why BlOps has the same wrong feel to it as WaW did.
