My first thoughts:

still scary as ever although the demo is a bit too short.

max settings with ease(like I said before its still the same engine) but still looks really good

if you look closely (keybindings) you can tell they had to make sacrifices (damn consoles )

I just loved the machine armor, especially with 5.1 speakers on and the bass loud (the entire room shaking as if it was hit by an earthquake )

Im just awaiting the reviews if the online part is any good...

Was fantastic on a 5.1 headset hope this lives up to the feel of the original.

i cried , its got them silly ghosts in like persius mandate plus u cant lean anymore but i did like the push objects over for cover (console seems to be written all over it)

I just played the first 2 levels of the game and im a bit disapointed.
fear2 lacks the scary effect fear1 had (especially the beginning of fear1)
you start straight off shooting clones or whatever they suppose to be, and the controles/weapon impact show that this game is mianly meant for consoles

on the plus side: you dont need high-end hardware to play this on max settings



ow and btw the version im playing is 13GB!!!

fear 1 online was epic last time, just pure carnage accross a smallish map, nice layouts and good choice of weapons usable.

oh, and it was free aswell!

I cant play online with this version(didnt use a serial), especially since its connected with steam
