Here are the dreaded screens that i have been getting lately

First one is "unable to connect" why ? so i can only play in unranked servers now



Second one, I managed to connect and then this ! "You have been disconnected"



Lastly, when i manage to get on a server... dam punkbuster is playing havoc !



They really need to release a patch asap otherwise this game is going to be placed in the shredder... When i do manage to get on-line the gameplay is okay, just a real shame the whole "connecting and staying in a server is pants"

Yea, those disconnect are very annoying... The same situation like when FC1 came out...

i havent go online yet, just keeps connecting!

Make sure you update PB using the latest version of PBSETUP. The PB installed 'out of the box' is old and will cause you to get kicked occasionally.

The game needs a patch that restructures MP - as it stands now we have a decent SP game, a great map editor (my 'bango river' map is taking shape) and a really shite MP that is taking the shine off the game as a whole...plus the odd bug (keybinds, fov, etc).

you think you got problems mine won't even install !!
keep getting error can't find a d3dsumfing .dll !!
tried re installing directx but it won't install as it finds a cab file that is unsafe!! blah blah

you think you got problems mine won't even install !!
keep getting error can't find a d3dsumfing .dll !!
tried re installing directx but it won't install as it finds a cab file that is unsafe!! blah blah

Now we know for sure it isn't n00bproof

Is this the error message that your anti virus pops up saying the file has a Trojan. If so it's part of the registration process for FC2 and you need to allow it.

yep that happened
but i solved the problem by re-installing directx
i can not only play sp now, but got in mp yesterday for a try
to early to say yet whether i like it or not.

geeez your actualy got a game i get into the server then get kicked back out! lol

Ive given up with MP already, sick of it.. im 16% into SP and its so far okay
