Dumb ass question

I've just put my blonde wig on to ask this:

If I take my mobile to Canada and want to send a txt message to an american mobile phone that will also be in Canada at the same time - do I need to use canada's intl'dialling code followed by their american mobile number, or do you just text their american mobile number?

Also, if I wanted to txt my mates back in the UK, presumably I need to whack the +44 on the front of the numbers (dropping the first digit from their mobile)?

for sending to the uk u wont have to type the +44 before the numbers i think and for the first question, u only have to send to the american number with the american + whatever number it is in front of the number. Because the number you are sending to is an american number and not a canadian. (i hope you know you will be paying your ass off to text them).

 (hope im right)

Dumb ass fook wit.... :uwhat:

Never, no ALWAYS store numbers with their international dial code

To call the US number from your mobi in Canada dial

+1 ABC 123 DEFG

+ intenational (in the UK 00 is international, in the US its 011, by using + your phone/network works out which one you need)

1 USA
ABC Area code
123 Disctirct code
DEFG number
eg
+16317557000
^ Above is very similar format to ours if you have an 0151 number

To dial the Snellins gay rights club:

+44 then as you descirbe drop the lead zero (0)7919 etc

+447919......

HTH
Have a safe and successfull trip
