One thing they neglect to mention is that it would take several millenia for any micro black holes to have an effect, and that it is postulated that the center of the earth (where the micro holes would migrate to if they survived) already contains at least one. :)

Much more interesting is the possible creation of magnetic monopoles, if you've ever read any Larry Niven :wink:

Actually it was on the opposite of the alps so there are no French speaking there, they speak high german.

actually, the LHC is at the border between france and swiss, close to Geneve, they mainly speak french :p
