Did a quick build yesterday with only one card and no water (still waiting for parts to arrive) and wire management. Not as loud as I feared but then again installing windows is not exactly putting anything under strain. The Maximus Extreme is one bitchin' MoBo! It has a ton of features that I have no clue what does but it makes for great advertising!

seperate fan control in ati control centre? my 5970 is quiet at stock setting.....
