Windows 7 - whats it like?

i was gonna order the pro version but cancelled as couldnt see the point in paying double for the xp virtual thingy...was the only real difference i could find between the 2. (i wont use company networks or the backup feature)

I intend to use it for my business as well as games, so need the XP vitually thingy to ensure my software all works fine, plus the backup would also be good from a business point if view.
If i wanted it just for games I'd go for the home edition for £50.
