I've been scouting round various hotels in Blackpool and have come up with the one which I think is most suitable. The owners have been very accommodating and as luck would have it, they've hosted a couple of football management LANs before.

THE BROADWAY HOTEL is comfortable, clean and looking forward to catering for our needs
Its within spitting distance of Blackpool Pleasure Beach - if you haven't clicked through on the link above yet, take a look at the Pepsi-Max Big One!!
All gaming equipment will be SECURE in our own dedicated games room.
The cost will be £22.50 Bed and Breakfast per person per night.
If you're bringing the missus, a week's stay may be even less per night.
Ian, the owner, has also offered to prepare a buffet lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Contact Ian directly via the link to pay a deposit, with the balance payable on the weekend. Quote the booking reference "WARGAMES" to get the LAN price

There will almost certainly be a few spare PC's knocking about for anyone who has to travel without one. I have at least one and my clanmates can normally lay their hands on a couple too.
All the networking equipment is already taken care of, as are the servers.
I'm planning on us playing various mods and patches over the weekend - so don't worry whether you prefer ProMod or PAM4, 1.33 or 1.4 - this will be a social weekend first and foremost (FUN, if you will!) so no-one will be left out ............I fancy playing Obsidian Edge for the first time, for instance.

There will also be a spectator station set up in the bar with a 40 inch monitor.

I'm serious about you bringing your missus - if you tire of the sights and sounds of Blackpool itself, it makes a great value base from which to see other attractions in the North-West. Manchester, Liverpool, the Lake District and loads of other interesting places are within an hour's drive. Just make sure she understands that you'll be doing some gaming first!!

As i say, accommodation should be booked with Ian through the link above.
Any queries that i can take care of should go to yomper@g4fclan or x-fire unit1971

Shouldn't be a problem, but I'll be setting off Friday morning and coming back Sunday morningish (depending on how long it takes to get up there)
