MP needs tweaking they guy who was in charge of MP must not have a PC then again he may never have played MP.

fc1 started off bad so i am not giving up on fc2 yet, its simple things why the hell dont they have a proper server list? to actually see who owns the server on the [sh*t] poor list you have to highlight it and if the games started you cant join if the game is ranked unranked dont matter, also what ever upgrades you get in ranked aint transfered to unranked? maybe im blind or just stupid hurry up and start playing to protect my sanity

This game shows potential, but is held back in many ways. This is a PERSONAL COMPUTER game. Far Cry was made for PC, designed for PC, and played by PC gamers. Please give the PC version some pretty basic features. I understand the "Easy to Pick Up" philosophy. You can have both.

The MP is setup so poorly, it makes me "Cry for some better Tech". Just to start....

#1 - A server browser? Maybe you have heard of it? It's a place where you can see servers. Why must I go through pages just to find a server browser?

#2 - "Cannot join match, ranked match already in progress". Ok, let me join another server...oh wait...THERE ARE NO OTHER SERVERS! If you're going to enforce that, make sure you have servers to choose from.

#3 - I want to join a clan....oh wait...I CAN'T change my name?!

#4 - Lets play Uprising, oh wait, nevermind...the captain of our team is SNIPING ON A HILL. Alright, fine, lets play CTF. That's a fun game mode...oh wait...NO ONE IS PLAYING CTF. Why? The server browser is buried in the corner for no one to see.

I swear...as a die hard member of the original Far Cry community, it's a shame. I don't understand why simple things become so complicated.

This may be the last time I spend my money on a Ubisoft game.

Sounds like he's hit the nail on the head with those comments. Im shocked at how unpolished the MP seems to be.

god , and i already bought it... no wonder there is no assault...
they didn't even bother to do normal PC multiplayer, no server list, can't join game in progress, kicking after every map, What the hell honestly, pure console port, like Turok for example... this sort of MP dies in one week...
Ok Fc 1 was quite unplayble at start too, but assault saved it...
At least we clearly see that ubi didn't listen us at all or community managers are retards and didn't passed information properly... Cos They knew people wanted ASSAULT, which mean ppl also wanted PC FARCRY feeling, which means normal working server browser, ... COD4 sold like 10 m units, why they didnt check it out first ... shame

They wont listen, if they'd listened from the start the mp wouldnt be as shocking as im hearing...........from everyone!

This is why ubisoft will never be a major developer. They are set in their ways, and they refuse to change them.

well , just played for 2 hours, and mp does have potential.. ( at least its not lagging) some things are just so annoying

- server list
- no ping
- getting kicked after every match
- upgradable weapons, just damn stupid, first sniper rifle takes 3 shots to kill someone, upgraded 1...

Alright, just found out that is you play player match ( not ranked match ) , then there is an option to join in progress, you can create server to allow it, also weapons are faster available their.. I think we need to make a server with old people we know, and test the game properly, play uprising with people who know the rules and so on.. and then judge

That sounds like a good idea, now we just need someone to work out how to properly setup a SADS server for FC2 - I hear the documentation with the game is err....sh*te to put it kindly

Im actually holding off buying it now, being left handed the keybind issues with the right side of the keyboard will [f*ck] up my SP and MP, then again I may get it just to recreate mangoriver over the weekend.
