Hi Gypsy, it's been a while
Do you have a current PC you can salvage bits from?
£400 won't go far from scratch

The best defence against software piracy is producing a game worth buying.
I have my old PC which is q6600 quad core . 4gb ram . 700 watt power supply . Hardrive and not sure what graphics card is inside. Only problem is I replaced the thermal paste on CPU and graphics card and now the thing doesn't even POST so don't know what's salvageable and most probably outdated

If you can salvage your pc case, keyboard, mouse, dvd, hard drive and PSU then you'll just need to find a good bundle deal on a cpu/motherboard/ram and hopefully have enough left for a graphics card.
I would go Intel i5 cpu if u can, they're still ahead of AMD in performance.
You can get a legit windows 10 licence key from softwaregeeks for around £20
