If you can stretch a little further or cut back on the cpu a little how about this MB & Ram?

DDR3 and a 770 crossfire MB, it will let you add 2nd gfxcard later if you want.

DON'T FORGET A PSU, midrange 600w will do for now or 7-800w for future.

the 785G has built in graphics so make sure you configure in bios to use your card. If your monitor has dual inputs you can connect one to m/b and one to graphics card, if not wire up to the motherboard and boot into bios, then select external pcie card and reboot after swapping the lead.

tits prolly grounded the board :)

build the [f*cker] out of the box ,see that every thing is ticking over ,then stuff it in the box
simple

if it does it again means u left a stand off on the case tray were the board sits ,,simply check they all line up with the holes your going to put screws in to hold the board inside the case

also check u have all the connectors plugged in the board 24pin and 4 pin

dont forget to give the nvid260 power from the psu via the 6 pin plug in

still having issues simply use only these thing to boot up

psu, cpu, onboard graphics,1 stick of ram you should get the bios screen once u see it switch off and only add the hard drive ,now see if it boots into windows ,if it does switch off and add the gfx card WITH IT EXTERNAL 6pin power plug

also did the motherboard need a bios update to run the new cpu ?????? if it does then all of the above is useless until its been update
goodnight
