Tell 'em you build and sell computers and you qualify for the oem package
there's also a web designer version, don't know what that comes with though

The XP mode is a special version of virtual PC, It will run XP or earlier apps, It doesn't support 3D graphics (emulates S3 Trio 64)
I'm current running a W7 vpc on my xp system and a vista vpc on the w7 vpc isn't virtualisation great
you can create a vpc of any OS (I've even got Dos6.22 and Wfw3.11 with IE5 16bit) so as long as you've an install disk and a license key you can run XP on W7 premium, you just can't the run free one from MS. oh and you must have virtualisation enabled to use the MS one.
