Long Time No Chat. I've officially drawn my NHS pension, still working through the Covid crisis but hoping to scale bck mid 21 and finally have some time for gaming , even if my ancient reflexes are rubbish these days.
I'm building a new 5600x and 3080 rig so I can play at 4k on a tv ( it's the only way I can see things with these old eyes :D) getting a 300Mb fibre connection to go with it in the new year.
Hopefully try to chat with some of you come July. It's been a very hectic last 4 years in the NHS; spent 2 years working 50 hours plus a week plus on call as the only one left of a 3 man team, told them to shove it in the end and moved work to Poole to down stress for retirement ..... then 2020!

Good to see (read) you all, belated Merry Christmas to everyone!

That sounds like a good spec Grumpy - throw in a NVMe drive for the OS and you'll be one of the fastest retirees out there :)

@thepuff - yes we are still active in discord but in the run up to xmas we've all been busy with real life stuff so if you've popped in its probably been a ghost town. We do have a facebook messenger group also, its more active than these forums lol. If anyone wants the link say so in this thread and I'll PM you on here.

@Slicer - something beastly I hope

Now we all need to find a game to play together :)

Best Wishes for the New Year all !!!
